Nvidia GeForce 398.86 Hotfix
8 August 2018
Nvidia has released the 398.86 Hotfix graphics driver.
This driver is for the GeForce 600 series and above under Windows 10.
It fixes windowed G-Sync mode stuttering after upgrading to the Windows 10 April 2018 Update.

It provides the optimal experience for the Battlefield V Open Beta, F1 2018, Immortal: Unchained, Pro Evolution Soccer 2019, Strange Brigade and Switchblade.
The driver also contains PhysX version 9.17.0524 and GeForce Experience version 3.14.1.

Windows 10 October 2018 Update
6 October 2018
Microsoft has announced that it is pausing the rollout of the next major version of Windows 10, known as the Windows 10 October 2018 Update.
The Windows 10 Update History page notes that the reason for this is the numerous problems reported with the update.
Update: A Microsoft representative says that if you still have files in your Docs folder (presumably \users\[username]\Documents\) after installing the update, then you are not affected by the file deletion issue.
