Patch Notes 1.0.1.0 Long, long list of updates...
These are the headlines:-Major Updates for 1.0.1.0:- Movement is refined with reduced slide-to-jump momentum, lowered jump height, and increased inaccuracy when firing while airborne or sliding.
- Weapon handling has been rebalanced through general recoil tuning and adjustments to ensure more consistent gunplay.
- Rush and Breakthrough layouts revised to deliver a better balance between Attackers and Defenders.
- Maps improved with better traversal, lighting adjustments, and overall performance upgrades.
- UI and HUD have received a range of polish improvements for clearer prompts, smoother navigation, and more accurate displays.
- Settings and controls expanded with improvements across multiple areas.
- Audio overhauled game-wide with clearer pings, refined weapon and vehicle sounds, and fixes for missing or delayed effects.

the game is taking a long time to unpack, 53% done 50 mins remaining, I started it at 4.45 pm now 5.39pm

I have not been able to play since 4pm , keeps saying missing game files , even though none are missing

Have you tried verifying the game files? Steam > BF6 > right click > Properties > Verify integrity of game files. Changes to rank & weapon progression etc. coming soon:https://x.com/BattlefieldComm/status/19 ... 2Fpage-189Battlefield 6 Progression Changes Now Live.Following our latest Community Update indicating our intent to improve progression,
the following changes will gradually roll out across all platforms over the next couple of hours.- Match Completion XP per min increased by 10%
- XP from Daily Challenges increased by 40%
- The XP needed to unlock the first 20 Attachment Ranks has been reduced.
-Please Note: For weapons that are already being progressed, the UI might display something inaccurate at first;
this will resolve once a match has been played with that weapon.
- Assignments requiring Career Ranks 20, 23, and 26 to begin will now require Career Ranks 10, 15, and 20, respectively.
- As stated within the Community Update, we are aware of the frustrations regarding the challenges themselves.
We are actively working on reviewing them, but it will take more time to develop, test, and implement these changes.
